Voting started for the icon of the new family app
Launch of the Chemnitz FamilyApp planned for autumn 2024
Chemnitz residents can now take part in choosing the app icon and logo for the city of Chemnitz's new family app. You can vote for your favourite at https://mitdenken.sachsen.de/1040967 until 20 August.
At the beginning of the year, the youth welfare committee of the city of Chemnitz decided to introduce a family app. The app is currently being created and is due to be launched in autumn 2024. The flagship, the icon and logo of the FamilienApp Chemnitz, is now to be selected together with future users.
The family app will contain a variety of functions. News, an advice section that covers the age categories from pregnancy to young adults as well as many accompanying topics such as health or education, as well as downloads and important emergency numbers are all available at a glance - conveniently on your mobile phone. This makes the app a valuable tool for parents and families, teenagers and young people in Chemnitz and the surrounding area.
Particularly noteworthy is the calendar of events, which will list parenting courses and family-related events as well as leisure activities.
Providers of family education and youth work as well as leisure facilities have the opportunity to register free of charge and enter their events.
