Volunteering in Chemnitz

Together with the Chemnitz Volunteer Centre, the adult education centre is offering an online course on volunteering opportunities on Wednesday, 5 May from 5 to 6.30 pm. Participation is free of charge. Anyone interested can register atwww.vhs-chemnitz.de by 12 noon on 5 May and will receive an access link by email.
The course covers various aspects of voluntary work: What should be considered when volunteering? What volunteering opportunities are there in Chemnitz? The course also provides information on, among other things, expense allowances, insurance and volunteering agreements. Employees of UNICEF AG Chemnitz will provide information in this course specifically on volunteering for children and answer questions.
Personal development, new impulses alongside studies, work or unemployment, a balance to everyday life, the desire for social contact - there are various reasons for volunteering.
The event is a cooperation between the Volunteer Centre at the Caritas Association for Chemnitz and the surrounding area and the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre.
