Voluntary commitment is honoured

The City of Chemnitz is honouring the special voluntary commitment of Chemnitz citizens with a festive event to mark International Volunteer Day.
The event with Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig will take place next Thursday, 8 December 2016, 6 p.m. in the City Council Chamber at Chemnitz City Hall.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend the festive event.
At the event in the town hall, thirteen Chemnitz residents will be awarded the THANK YOU card and seven will be honoured with an entry in the city's Golden Book.
