Virtual state exhibition "Education for sustainable development in Saxony"
Invitation to the online vernissage on 15 September 2021 at 3 to 4 pm
With the support of the Saxon State Ministry of Culture and the Saxon State Foundation for Nature and the Environment, the Local Agenda Chemnitz of the Environmental Centre has designed the virtual exhibition "Education for Sustainable Development in Saxony".
The opening of the state exhibition will be broadcast live from the TIETZ on Wednesday, 15 September 2021 at 3 pm. At the link www.landesausstellung-bne-sachsen.de/vernissage/, interested parties are cordially invited to visit the first virtual exhibition together in addition to a varied programme. It will then be available on the aforementioned website until autumn 2022.
Shaping a fairer, more sustainable and therefore future-proof world is something that needs to be learnt. In order to be able to make responsible decisions and take action, an educational approach is needed that provides learners with specific skills, knowledge and values. Numerous educational centres and stakeholders in Saxony are committed to this, with programmes covering various age groups and educational areas from early childhood education to lifelong learning. For several years now, these have been presented in the annual state exhibition "Education for Sustainable Development in Saxony".
Be inspired by, for example, a recycling project at a school in Plauen in the Vogtland region or the Fairtrade Town of Markleeberg, and feel free to contact the Chemnitz Environmental Centre for further information, advice and networking on the topic of education for sustainable development.
