The Chemnitz vaccination centre is moving to new premises this weekend. As previously announced, the facility operated by the German Red Cross will begin operations in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle from Saturday 27 March.

The relocation of the vaccination centre is necessary because more vaccination lines can be set up in the Hartmann-Halle and therefore more people can be vaccinated at the same time. In total, up to 3,000 people can be vaccinated there every day when the centre is fully expanded - provided sufficient vaccine is available.

The vaccination centre in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle, Fabrikstraße 9, is open as follows:

Monday to Friday:8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday:9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Maundy Thursday:8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Good Friday:9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Easter Monday:9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

All appointments that were arranged for the old vaccination centre are now valid for the new location in the Richard-Hartmann-Halle.

Further information and contact

If you have any further questions about the vaccination process and the organisation on site, please only contact the operator of the vaccination centre, the DRK Sachsen, at the telephone number and Internet address provided - and not the sports office.

Thank you very much
