On Friday, 17 July, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the City of Chemnitz is inviting people to a citizens' dialogue at several locations along Zwickauer Straße. The three venues are the Kappler Stübchen, the forecourt in front of the tram museum and the forecourt in front of the Lutherkirche Schönau.

Citizens are invited to contribute ideas and suggestions for the further development of the urban space along the approximately eight-kilometre-long street. Zwickauer Straße and its surroundings - between Kappler Drehe in the east, the motorway in the west, Kappelbach in the north and the railway line in the south - are to be upgraded and developed for the future.

With this public event, the city of Chemnitz is launching the dialogue process for the joint development of an urban development framework plan for Zwickauer Strasse, which is a prerequisite for the application for urban development funding. The experts from the city planning office are looking forward to constructive discussions with the participants.

The addresses of the three venues (see diagram) are
- Station A: Kappler Stübchen, Kappelbachgasse 10, 09116 Chemnitz
- Station B: Tram Museum forecourt, Zwickauer Straße 164, 09116
- Station C: Square in front of Lutherkirche Schönau, Zwickauer Straße 255, 09116 Chemnitz
