Unsealing "Amphitheatre" Am Harthwald
On Monday, 5 December 2016, construction work will begin on the Am Harthwald 96 playground. The first work will be to set up the construction site and demolish and dismantle the larger sealed area, the so-called amphitheatre. New soil will then be applied to this area, modelled and new grass sown.
The work is scheduled for completion at the end of December 2016, weather permitting.
The restoration of the area is a compensatory and replacement measure for the path construction on the "Birkenweg" in the city park, which is one of the subsidised measures under the 2013 flood damage directive.
The commissioned planning office is Iproplan Planungsgesellschaft mbH from Chemnitz, the executing construction company is SKR Sönitz GmbH from Lichtenberg/Erzgebirge.
The construction costs totalled 25,000 euros.
