UNICEF project: Pupils from Annen-Oberschule take part
This year, the children's relief organisation UNICEF held a future workshop on the topic: "How do I imagine the world in 2030". In the 25th anniversary year of the UNICEF Group East, to which the Chemnitz working group belongs, pupils from class 6a at Annen-Oberschule also worked on the school competition together with Ute Spindler, the children's representative for the city of Chemnitz.
They decided on the project topic "Environmental protection". They specialised in water. At the end of the project, the pupils were able to experience how a work of art was created from raw materials (water pipes and hoses).
The plan is to take the artwork with them to the meeting of the working groups involved in the project in Potsdam on 4 June, where they will make a personal appeal to the politicians: Water for everyone. This should remain affordable and preserved.
Enclosed you will find the invitation to tender and the results of the project. It is also possible to talk to the pupils themselves about the project work or to take photos.
The children's representative will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
