Twelve-year-old visits the integrated regional control centre

On Wednesday, 23 August, at around 3 p.m., twelve-year-old Hanna visited the Chemnitz-Erzgebirge-Mittelsachsen Integrated Rescue Coordination Centre, Schadestraße15. She was invited to honour a special help she provided a month ago. She will be given an insight into the control centre in an interview with the operations officer at the time.

The following happened: At the beginning of July 2023, there was a medical emergency in a public space in Frankenberg. Hanna, who was at the scene, dialled the emergency number. Based on her description of the person's condition, the IRLS Chemnitz-Erzgebirge-Mittelsachsen dispatcher instructed the girl to perform resuscitation measures over the phone. Hanna carried out these instructions with astonishing aplomb and passed them on to other people present.
