TU summer language course participants visit the town hall
Mayor Rochold welcomes the participants on 7 August, 6 pm, in the city council chamber
The annual International Summer Course for German Language organised at Chemnitz University of Technology is a fine tradition in Chemnitz. "German as a Foreign Language" is being held for the 39th time this year. Lessons are scheduled for the 39 course participants from 6 to 24 August 2012.
The programme for their stay in Chemnitz traditionally includes a reception for an informational talk in the town hall: Mayor Philipp Rochold will welcome the international guests from France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Romania on Tuesday, 7 August at 6 pm in the city council chamber of the town hall at Markt 1.
Representatives of the media are cordially invited to attend.
Representatives of the council parliamentary groups have also been invited to the event in the town hall. After a welcome and subsequent information session, the programme includes a tour of the town hall up to the High Tower with tower keeper Alexander Albrecht.
