These days, some tree maintenance work will begin in the Riedbachtal green corridor, which is necessary for the renewal of a culvert in the Riedbach. Specifically, 17 trees will be felled and shrubs removed. The work is in preparation for the second construction phase to design the green corridor.
The measures at the culvert will improve the ecological continuity of the watercourse. In addition, a north-south pathway will be created across the stream.
The tree maintenance work complies with nature conservation regulations and will be completed by 28 February 2025. The costs for this amount to approx. 2,000 euros.
The regular start of construction for the culvert, path construction and vegetation work is scheduled for the second half of 2025.
