Tree felling work in the south-west urban area
Trees are expected to be felled in the south-west urban area from week 46.
During the ongoing tree inspections, damage to trees has been identified that leads to their loss of stability or stability. This means that the trees in question are in danger of breaking or falling over. There is an urgent need for action on the trees listed in the appendix.
Without exception, all the work to be carried out is urgent and serves to maintain or restore road safety.
All tree maintenance measures within the meaning of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under Section 39 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act (BNatSchG).
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
