Tree felling work in parks
This week, work began on felling trees in public parks. During the ongoing tree inspections, damage to trees in public parks has been identified that is leading to a loss of breaking strength and stability. For this reason, there is an immediate need for action. The trees to be felled are shown in the attached list.
Without exception, all the work to be carried out is urgent and serves to maintain or restore road safety.
All tree maintenance measures within the meaning of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under Section 39 BNatSchG.
