Trees will be felled in Küchwaldpark from next week. The work will continue until the end of February 2026.
The felling is necessary to clear the site for a construction project by utility company eins. Subsequently, from mid-April, the above-ground district heating route will be dismantled in this area.
The paths in Küchwaldpark will be temporarily closed if necessary. Construction vehicles must be expected. The park railway will run without restrictions.
The utility company eins has commissioned the company Baumpflege Richter from Neukirchen to carry out the felling work. Replacement planting is planned.
The district heating line from the 1980s has a length of 1.7 kilometres and has already been decommissioned. Further information on the construction work can be obtained from supplier eins.
