Tree felling in the urban area from October 2021 to February 2022
Replanting from autumn 2021 to spring 2022
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the listed trees require immediate action. The tree felling will be carried out from October 2021 to February 2022.

Without exception, all of the upcoming work involves urgent measures that serve to maintain or restore road safety.
The abundance of measures is partly due to the consequential damage from the dry years 2018, 2019 and 2020.
All tree maintenance measures in the sense of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under Section 39 BNatSchG or Section 25 SächsNatSchG.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
Replanting
From autumn 2021 to spring 2022, approx. 130 trees will be replanted at locations in Hutholz (green corridor "am Kaufland"), in Heinersdorf and at the entrance to Dresdner Straße (former "Panzer" site).
