Tree felling in the north and south-east Chemnitz urban areas in the second and third quarters of 2020
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the trees listed in the following links require immediate action. The tree felling will be carried out from the end of May to the end of July 2020.
Without exception, all upcoming work is urgent measures that serve to maintain or establish road safety.
All tree maintenance measures in the sense of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under § 39 BNatSchG or § 25 SächsNatSchG.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
