Tree felling in the city of Chemnitz in July 2017
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the trees listed in the appendix require immediate action. The felling measures will be carried out in July 2017.
Without exception, all of the upcoming work is urgent measures that serve to maintain or establish road safety.
All tree maintenance measures in terms of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under Section 39 BNatSchG or Section 25 SächsNatSchg.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
