Tree felling at the Park of the Victims of Fascism
As part of the construction of the new Zschopauer Straße bridge over DB facilities
On Friday, 5 June, twelve trees will be felled at the Park of the Victims of Fascism between Rembrandtstraße and Landeszentralbank for the road construction work along the side green strip. The felling is necessary for the expansion of the traffic facilities, in particular a cycle lane.
The measure is being carried out in accordance with the planning approval decision for the replacement construction of the Zschopauer Straße bridge over the DB AG facilities.
The authorisation for felling (within the vegetation phase) has been granted as part of the planning approval decision.
The trees to be felled will be replaced, among other things, by substitute planting and external compensatory measures, which were also regulated in the planning approval procedure.
