Tree felling and tree care work
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the trees listed in the appendix require action.
The tree maintenance work will be carried out by the end of February 2020. Without exception, all of the upcoming work involves measures that serve to maintain or establish road safety.
In addition, the tree inspections in consultation with the lower nature conservation authority have revealed that immediate action is required on a tree on "Winterlindenallee Röhrsdorf". This tree has been under increased observation for some time due to trunk rot. An external expert has now diagnosed the progress of the trunk rot in the area of a branch as an acute stability risk. This tree must be felled immediately.
All tree maintenance measures within the meaning of the duty to maintain public safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchG.
