Tree felling and pruning measures in the city of Chemnitz in November 2016
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was established that the trees listed below require immediate action.
The felling and pruning work will be carried out in November 2016.
All of the upcoming work is, without exception, urgent measures that serve to maintain or establish road safety.
All tree maintenance measures within the meaning of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under Section 39 BNatSchG or Section 25 SächsNatSchg.
Wherever space permits, the Parks Department will arrange for replanting.
