Tree felling and pruning measures in the city of Chemnitz in April 2017
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the trees listed in the appendix require immediate action. The felling and pruning measures will be carried out in April 2017.
Without exception, all of the upcoming work is urgent and serves to maintain or establish road safety.
All tree maintenance measures in the sense of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchg.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
