Tree felling and pruning measures in Chemnitz in the III. and IV. quarter 2015
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was found that 52 properties in the city of Chemnitz require immediate action.
The necessary felling and pruning measures will be carried out in the third and fourth quarters of 2015.
Without exception, all of the upcoming work is urgent measures that serve to maintain or establish road safety.
All woodland maintenance measures in terms of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchg.
Wherever space permits, the Parks Department will arrange for replanting.
