Tree care work in the north of Chemnitz
Various tree maintenance works are currently underway in the north of Chemnitz. This is necessary due to the duty to maintain public safety. Six trees are also being felled in the process.
The measures affect the green spaces between Friedrich-Schlöffel-Straße and Leipziger Straße in the Borna-Heinersdorf district and on Chemnitzer Straße/Heinrich-Heine-Straße in the Röhrdorf district, where the work has already begun.
The work, totalling around 4,600 euros, is being carried out by the tree restoration company Baumsanierung Wagler from Schlettau.
