Tree care work in spring 2014 (I and II quarter)
The ongoing tree inspections and the results of the current expert report have shown that tree maintenance work (pruning and felling) must be carried out in spring 2014 for safety reasons.
Without exception, all of the upcoming work is urgent and will be carried out exclusively in the first and second quarters of 2014. They will only be carried out in the first and second quarters of 2014. All woodland maintenance measures in terms of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchg.
Wherever space permits, the Parks Department will arrange for replanting. Please refer to the attached list for detailed information on the reasons for felling.
