Tree care work and felling in the city of Chemnitz in September 2018
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was determined that the trees listed below require immediate action. The felling and pruning measures are listed separately in the attached lists and will be carried out between September and October 2018.
Without exception, all of the upcoming work is urgent and serves to maintain or establish road safety.
All tree maintenance measures in the sense of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchG.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
