Tree care work and felling in the city of Chemnitz in July 2018
During the ongoing tree inspections, it was established that the trees listed in the appendix require immediate action. The necessary tree care and felling measures (see appendix) will be carried out in July.
Without exception, all of the work to be carried out is urgent and serves to maintain or restore road safety.
All tree maintenance measures within the meaning of the duty to maintain road safety are legally permissible and do not constitute an offence under §39 BNatSchG or §25 SächsNatSchg.
The wood from the felled trees becomes the property of the company commissioned with the tree felling.
