Traffic restrictions on the occasion of the Museum Night
Bus shuttle turns Brückenstraße into a one-way street on Saturday night
On Saturday, 14 May, from 5 pm, Brückenstraße will be closed to traffic from Straße der Nationen to Theaterstraße/Mühlenstraße. The reason for this is the departure of the shuttle buses for the Museum Night in front of the Karl Marx Monument.
The one-way traffic regulation will continue until the end of the event at 1am. The diversion will be via Straße der Nationen, Georgstraße and Mühlenstraße.
In order to secure the arrival and departure routes for the buses in the respective bus stop areas, stopping bans will also be set up at several locations, which must be strictly adhered to:
- Brückenstraße between half of the bus stop area of the "Brückenstraße" stop and the "Rondell" car park,
- Heinrich-Beck-Straße at house number 35 and in front of the junction with Barbarossastraße,
- Mittweidaer Straße between Eberhardtsteig and Silcherstraße,
- Braunsdorfer Straße approx. 40 metres after the junction with Frankenberger Straße and
- near the railway station in Hilbersdorf.
As in previous years, the participating museums and institutions can be reached by bus and train on CVAG shuttle extra tours in addition to the regular scheduled services. The buses for the extra tours meet at fixed times at the central departure point on Brückenstraße, making it easy to change buses.
