On Friday, 8 August, the opening concert of the "MDR Musiksommer" series will take place on Theaterplatz.
The classical concert will be broadcast live, which means that traffic will be restricted. This will ensure that there is an undisturbed background noise that guarantees the quality of the concert both on site and in the live broadcast.
For this reason, Straße der Nationen will be fully closed in the section from Brückenstraße to Richard-Tauber-Straße and Carolastraße from 7 pm to 10.30 pm.
From 4 p.m. to approx. 11 p.m., stopping restrictions will apply on Straße der Nationen in the section from Brückenstraße to Richard-Tauber-Straße and on Carolastraße. The parking bays adjacent to the streets are also covered by the stopping ban.
It is recommended to drive round the streets in question via Dresdner Straße and August-Bebel-Straße
