Traffic restrictions on Leipziger Straße between Altendorfer Straße and Louis-Otto-Straße
Road users please note the traffic restrictions necessary from Tuesday (22 April) on Leipziger Straße as part of construction work (roadworks information from 16 April 2014). The road sections between Altendorfer Straße and Glauchauer Straße and between DB-Brücke and Louis-Otto-Straße are affected.
The city's traffic authority would like to point out that there will be lane restrictions in places in both directions on the road sections and that tailbacks must therefore be expected at peak traffic times. Pedestrians can continue to use the pavements and the pedestrian lights on Glauchauer Straße and Louis-Otto-Straße without restriction.
The construction work is being carried out as part of the 2013/2014 special programme to repair winter damage. It is planned to complete the work by 16 May 2014.
The company commissioned with the work is STRABAG, Saxony Directorate from Zwickau. The cost of the construction work is 77,000 euros.
