Traffic restrictions in the city centre on Friday
Brückenstraße closed from 3 to 10 pm
Tomorrow, Friday 24 September, there will be traffic restrictions in the entire city centre from around 2 p.m. to around 4.30 p.m. due to registered demonstrations. All demonstrations will be escorted by the police and the streets concerned will be operatively closed by the police.
Brückenstraße between Straße der Nationen and Theaterstraße will be fully closed for the main rally in front of the Karl Marx Monument from 3 pm until approx. 10 pm.
The closure can be bypassed via Bahnhofstraße, Theaterstraße, Mühlenstraße, Georgstraße, Straße der Nationen and Carolastraße. A wide-ranging bypass of the city centre is recommended.
