Traffic restrictions for the International Chemnitz City Run (ICC) on 9 September
Chemnitz Marathon GmbH is organising the International Chemnitz City Run (ICC) on Saturday, 9 September 2017, from 5 to 9 pm.
The route runs from Brückenstraße - Straße der Nationen - Zöllnerstraße - Brühl - Georgstraße - Arndtplatz - Promenadenstraße - The Georgstraße - Arndtplatz - Promenadenstraße - Theunertstraße back to Brückenstraße.
Brückenstraße between Straße der Nationen and Mühlenstraße will be fully closed from 3 pm. The running route will be completely closed from 4.00 pm.
The event will be secured by forces from the Chemnitz police headquarters. Bus and train services will be operationally guaranteed.
Visitors and residents of the city centre should follow the traffic signs with traffic jams and diversion recommendations. However, obstructions cannot be ruled out.
