Traffic restrictions for the Chemnitz company run
Running course closed to traffic on 3 September, from 5 to 8.30 pm
This year's Chemnitz company run will take place on Wednesday, 3 September. The starting signal will be given at 5.45 pm. The organiser (Die Sportmacher GmbH) will once again use the market and Neumarkt as the event site.
The running route runs via:
Am Wall - Webergasse - Theaterstraße - Hartmannstraße - Schloßstraße - Arndtstraße - Arndtplatz - Promenadenstraße - Schloßteichstraße - Schloßstraße - Schloßteichpark - Erich-Schmidt-Straße - Promenadenstraße - Theunertstraße - Schloßstraße - Hartmannstraße - Fabrikstraße - Bierbrücke - An der Markthalle - Hartmannstraße - Theaterstraße - Webergasse - Jakobikirchplatz - Innere Klosterstraße
The running route will be completely closed from 5 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m. (see map)
Set-up begins at 3.00 pm, from this time onwards restrictions must be expected.
The following route is recommended as a diversion:
Leipziger Straße - Reichsstraße - Zwickauer Straße - Bahnhofstraße - Brückenstraße - Mühlenstraße.
The event will be operationally secured by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters.
For safety reasons, the stopping restrictions along the running route and the instructions of the stewards must be observed.
Participants and visitors to the event are requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
CVAG will announce any changes to public transport due to the traffic closures separately at www.cvag.de.
