Traffic restrictions for the Chemnitz company run
Running course closed to traffic on 4 September, from 5 to 8.30 pm
This year's Chemnitz company run will take place on Wednesday, 4 September. The starting signal will be given at 6 pm (in starting waves). The market and Neumarkt will once again be used by the organiser (Die Sportmacher GmbH) as the event site.
The running route runs via:
Am Rathaus - footpath Bahnhofstraße - Bretgasse - Markt - Innere Klosterstraße -Jakobikirchplatz - Webergasse - Theaterstraße - Hartmannstraße - An der Markthalle - Bierbrücke - Fabrikstraße - Schloßstraße - Theunertstraße - Promenadenstraße -
Erich-Schmidt-Straße - connecting path Erich-Schmidt-Straße/Schloßteichstaße - Schloßteichstraße - Promenadenstraße - Arndtplatz - Arndtstraße - Schloßstraße - Hartmannstraße - Theaterstraße - Am Wall
The running route will be completely closed from 5 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m. (see map)
The event will be operationally secured by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters.
The stopping restrictions along the running route and the instructions of the stewards must be observed for safety reasons.
Participants and visitors to the event are requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
CVAG will announce any changes to public transport due to the traffic closures separately at www.cvag.de.
