Traffic restrictions for the Chemnitz company run
Running course closed to traffic on 7 September, from 5 to 8.30 pm
The Chemnitz company run will take place on Wednesday, 7 September. The starting signal will be given at 6 pm (in starting waves). The event site this year is on the market square and Neumarkt. The organiser ("Die Sportmacher" GmbH) is expecting around 8,000 participants and a corresponding number of visitors along the route.
The running route runs via:
Neumarkt - Richard-Möbius-Straße - Am Wall - Theaterstraße - Hartmannstraße - Schloßstraße - Georgstraße - Promenadenstraße - Schloßteichstraße - Verbindungsweg zur Erich-Schmidt-Straße - Erich-Schmidt-Straße - Promenadenstraße - Hartmannstraße - Fabrikstraße - Bierbrücke - An. Fabrikstraße - Bierbrücke - An der Markthalle - Hartmannstraße - Theaterstraße - Webergasse
The running route will be completely closed from 5 p.m. to approx. 8.30 p.m. (see map)
The event will be operationally secured by the Chemnitz Police Headquarters.
The stopping restrictions along the running route and the instructions of the stewards must be observed for safety reasons.
Participants and visitors to the event are requested to use the city centre car parks and public transport.
