On Saturday, 30 August, the concerts of DIKKA and Wincent Weiss will take place on the grounds of enviaM, Chemnitztalstraße 13.
From 6 a.m. on Friday, 29 August to 12 noon on Monday, 1 September, there will be traffic restrictions due to the location, the use of shuttle services between Messe Chemnitz and the event venue, the event concept and the use of additional bicycle parking spaces.
Road closures
To protect local residents, the following roads will be closed to through traffic:
- Draisdorfer Straße
- Glücksberg
- In der Delle
- Irrbornweg
- Zu den Pappeln
Access for residents is guaranteed at all times.
Access for the fire and rescue services is also guaranteed at all times.
Establishment of a one-way street in sections of Chemnitztalstraße, landwards
From 6 a.m. on 29 August to 12 noon on 1 September, Chemnitztalstraße from Glösaer Straße to Bornaer Straße will be set up as a one-way street in a landward direction to ensure the safety of concertgoers and the smoothest possible flow of shuttle traffic. A mobile traffic light in the section from Glösaer Straße to Dammweg will ensure that public transport can use the route in the direction of the city centre.
For private traffic heading towards the city centre, a diversion will be signposted from Bornaer Straße via Blankenburgstraße towards the city centre. Road users are asked to exercise particular caution and patience, especially during rush hour, due to the changed route. A diversion will be signposted from Dammweg for cycle traffic heading towards the city centre.
The CVAG public transport lines will run without restrictions.
Temporary 30 km/h speed limit on sections of Blankenauerstraße and Chemnitztalstraße
For safety reasons, a 30 km/h speed limit has been introduced on Blankenauer Straße and Chemnitztalstraße between Christian-Wehner-Straße and Dammweg.
Travelling for concert visitors
On the day of the event, concert-goers will primarily be able to get to the venue using a special shuttle service organised by CVAG. The car park at Messe Chemnitz can be used for parking.

Parking
There are no car parks in the vicinity of the event venue. Concertgoers can still park in the city centre car parks not affected by the closure and in the municipal P&R spaces. Information on this can be found at www.chemnitz.de/parken.
When using the P&R car parks and travelling by public transport, please note the timetables, as there are no shuttle services from these car parks.
