Traffic on the Südring is four-lane again
Section between Bernsdorfer Strasse and Zschopauer Strasse was completely rebuilt
In the course of Thursday morning, all four lanes of traffic on the Südring from Bernsdorfer Straße to the Zschopauer Straße exit will be reopened. This marks the completion of the thorough renovation of the section. Since this morning, the one-way traffic routing has been removed.
In the coming week, the central reservation crossing near the Zschopauer Straße exit will be removed. To this end, traffic in both directions will be narrowed to one lane in each direction.
The construction work was completed approx. 14 days later than planned. Due to the weather, the road markings could only be applied and the loop contacts for the Bernsdorfer Straße traffic lights installed this week.
The construction work was carried out to a high standard by the company EBG from Ehrenfriedersdorf. The commissioned budget of 2.3 million euros was adhered to.
