Traffic information for the Roland Kaiser concert on 16 July
Increased traffic volume from 2 pm - risk of traffic jams on the A72 motorway - special parking spaces with bus shuttle from 4 pm
On Saturday, 16 July, the Roland Kaiser open-air concert will take place in front of the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre from 8 pm. From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway near the Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße. Alternative routes are strongly recommended. (see attachment)
To regulate arrival and departure flows, Wandererstraße will be set up as a one-way street and Jaenickestraße between Zwickauer Straße and Neefestraße will also be closed.
In order to create additional parking facilities, one-way streets will be set up in the Winkelhoferstraße industrial estate.
In addition to the car parks at Messe Chemnitz (P1 and P2), it is recommended to use the special car parks in the Winkelhoferstraße industrial estate and in Neefepark. (A shuttle will be organised from Neefepark from 4 p.m., which will run to the exhibition centre every 20 minutes. The shuttle will return from the trade fair centre to Neefepark from 10.30 pm.
