Traffic information for the concerts "The Kelly Family" and "Peter Maffay" on 3 and 4 March in the Chemnitz Arena

The concert by the band "The Kelly Family" will take place in the Chemnitz Arena next Saturday, 3 March at 7.30 pm and the concert by "Peter Maffay" on Sunday, 4 March at 8 pm. On both days, increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Arena, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring from 3 pm. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the Chemnitz-Süd exit area and on Neefestraße.

Attached is an overview map showing the risk of traffic jams on the A72 motorway, Chemnitz-Süd junction and on Neefestraße. Please pay particular attention to the alternative routes indicated.

In order to ensure rapid access to the Chemnitz Arena car parks, the green light time for left turns from Neefestraße into Jaenickestraße will be extended.
Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street.

Please pay attention to the parking signs and the instructions of the stewards.

The respective concert ticket entitles the holder to use public transport free of charge within the entire Mittelsachsen transport association (VMS/CVAG) for four hours before and up to six hours after the event.
