Traffic information for the concert "Die Toten Hosen" on 5 November in the Chemnitz Arena

The concert with the band "Die Toten Hosen" will take place in the Chemnitz Arena on Sunday, 5 November at 8 pm. In the period from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Arena, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring. There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway near the Chemnitz-Süd exit and on Neefestraße.

Here is an overview map showing the risk of traffic jams on the A72 motorway, Chemnitz-Süd junction and on Neefestraße. Please pay particular attention to the alternative routes indicated.

When approaching from the city centre, please note that Zwickauer Straße between Lützowstraße and Kappler Drehe is closed due to construction work. The approach via Neefestraße must be used.

In order to ensure quick access to the Chemnitz Arena car park, the green light time for left turns from Neefestraße into Jaenickestraße will be extended. Wandererstraße from Jaenickestraße in the direction of Neefestraße (Solaris) will become a one-way street.

It is recommended to use the special EDEKA car park in the Winkelhoferstraße industrial estate. Here is an overview map showing the car park and other parking options.

Please follow the signs on the car park and the instructions of the stewards.

The concert ticket as a "Kombiticket" entitles the holder to use public transport free of charge throughout the Mittelsachsen transport network four hours before and up to six hours after the start of the event.

After the end of the event, special buses will be operated by the organiser. Buses will be available from the "Messe" stop (Neefestraße). Departures in the direction of the main railway station are at 10.26 pm and 11.26 pm (night connection at 10.45 pm and 11.45 pm from the central bus stop).
