Traffic information due to concert
Böhse Onkelz on 15 September at the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre
On Thursday, 15 September, from 2 p.m. to 7.30 p.m., increased traffic volumes are to be expected around the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre, on Zwickauer Straße and Südring due to the concert by the band Böhse Onkelz at the Chemnitz Exhibition Centre.
There is a risk of traffic jams on the A 72 motorway in the Chemnitz-Süd exit area and on Neefestraße. Alternative routes are strongly recommended (see overview).
Wandererstraße will be set up as a one-way street to regulate arrival and departure flows. In order to create additional parking facilities, a one-way street will be set up in the Winkelhoferstraße industrial estate.
In addition to the car parks at Messe Chemnitz (P1 and P2), it is recommended to use the special car parks in the Winkelhoferstraße industrial estate and in Neefepark (see overview).
A shuttle will be set up from Neefepark from 4 p.m., travelling to the trade fair every 20 minutes. The shuttle will return from the trade fair centre to Neefepark from 11.10 pm.
