On Tuesday, 8 April and Thursday, 10 April, traffic counts will be carried out at eleven intersections in the city on behalf of the traffic and civil engineering department.
For this purpose, video cameras will be installed on masts at the counting points by a contracted engineering firm, which will record the traffic situation throughout the day on the counting days.
The video cameras will be installed the day before and dismantled the day after the count, so that the cameras will be installed on the masts for a maximum of three days.
The traffic will be recorded in compliance with the GDPR.
On 8 April, traffic will be counted at the following intersections
- Falkeplatz
- Bahnhofstraße/Annaberger Straße
- Bahnhofstraße/Zschopauer Straße
- Bahnhofstraße/Brückenstraße
- Bahnhofstraße/Waisenstraße
- Straße der Nationen/Brückenstraße
- Brückenstraße/Mühlenstraße
The following intersections will be counted on 10 April:
- Annaberger Straße/Reichsstraße/Gustav-Freytag-Straße
- Zwickauer Straße/Reichsstraße
- Limbacher Straße/Barbarossastraße
- Limbacher Straße/Franz-Mehring-Straße
