Topping-out ceremony for the stadium on Gellertstraße

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the City of Chemnitz is inviting media representatives to the topping-out ceremony for the stadium on Gellertstraße. The meeting point is 4 pm at the P4 car park on Gellertstraße.
In addition to Lord Mayor Barbara Ludwig, the Chairman of the Board of Chemnitz FC Dr Mathias Hänel and the Managing Director of the general contractor BAM Dipl.-Ing. Axel Eichholtz will speak a few words.
At the press event, the last beam of the grandstand roof will be raised so that the trapezoidal sheets can be installed as roof covering as the next step.
In addition to the companies involved in the construction, representatives from politics, business and sport are also invited.
Keyword stadium: The remodelling of the stadium on Gellertstraße will take place while matches continue to be played. A modern arena with 15,000 seats is being created, of which approx. 9,000 seats and 6,000 standing places, including a family block and barrier-free seats. The client is the city of Chemnitz.
