Together against the energy crisis

Action day with energy advice on 1 February, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Carlowitz Congress Centre Chemnitz

On Wednesday, 1 February, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., interested parties are invited to a day of action on the topic of energy at the Carlowitz Congress Centre Chemnitz, Theaterstraße 3. This is being organised by the City of Chemnitz together with various stakeholders. In addition to presentations, there will be an opportunity to obtain information at stands in the foyer. Registration is not required.

Information stands and themed short presentations form the supporting programme. Important partners include eins energie in sachsen, the consumer advice centre, Caritas, housing companies and experts with target group-specific advice services.

Since 2022, the citizens of Chemnitz have also been increasingly affected by the consequences of the current energy crisis. Many people are particularly concerned about the security of energy supply and price trends. The City of Chemnitz is responding to this challenge by promoting energy-saving measures in its own properties and consistently expanding renewable energies in the city.

However, property owners and tenants are also called upon to reduce energy consumption and costs or to switch to self-generated renewable energy.

The day of action on 1 February is intended to be the start of a regular exchange with the urban community on the topics of energy, climate protection and climate change adaptation as well as the associated opportunities and challenges.
