"TIETZ sounds!" - Picture stories by Dagmar Ranft-Schinke
Musically accompanied by pupils from the municipal music school - on 20 September, 5 p.m.
On Thursday 20 September at 5 pm, Chemnitz artist Dagmar Ranft-Schinke will be performing on stage in the TIETZ foyer. The artist will bring fragments of thought to the stage in text and image, accompanied by instrumental performances from pupils of the Municipal Music School. Admission is free.
Under the title "Picture stories - not a diary", the artist has been producing a small-format drawing every day for 77 days alongside her main pictorial work in order to record her personal thoughts, ideas and moments. The project is initially planned for 365 days. Selected graphic works will be presented at the event using a video projector. Dagmar Ranft-Schinke's own time-critical texts, humorous ideas and aphorisms will also be heard.
The event is organised by the Municipal Music School in cooperation with the Chemnitz City Library.
