TIETZ sounds!
Pupils from the municipal music school make music on woodwind instruments
Next Thursday, 6 April 2017 at 5 pm, the wind instruments department will be presenting the woodwind instruments taught at the municipal music school on the stage in the foyer of the TIETZ, Moritzstr. 20.
Under the motto "All beginnings are easy", pupils in their first to third year of lessons will play the recorder, flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon. The pupils perform as soloists or in small ensembles and play works in various styles. The bassoonino, a small bassoon taught at the Municipal Music School by Andrea Zobel and Steffen Balciunas, is a rarity. If you would like to take a closer look at this instrument, you should definitely not miss the event at the TIETZ.
The concert lasts 45 minutes. Admission is free.
"TIETZ klingt!" is a series of concerts organised by the city's culture department, which includes the municipal music school. On one Thursday evening per month, pupils from the music school perform a concert on the stage at the TIETZ.
