Three more locations for test containers in Chemnitz
Together with many partners, the city of Chemnitz is also expanding the infrastructure of the test centres outside the city centre.
From tomorrow, three more test containers will be put into operation at the following locations in collaboration with GGG, Theed and the City of Chemnitz Health Department:
- Gablenzcenter
- York Centre
- IHK
The opening hours are:
- Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm
- Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm
A further eight locations are in preparation, including together with Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Chemnitz West (WCW).
The rapid tests can be used to contain the spread of infection.
Proof of a negative result from the rapid test is currently required for the use of services close to the body such as hairdressing, chiropody, etc. It can also be used to gain access to shops, restaurants or other facilities when they reopen.
