"Reisaren - Das Erwachen" is the first novel by Melinda Gauss from Chemnitz.
Alina and her boyfriend Giuseppe really didn't expect this: They actually just wanted to help the boy Norgann, who turns up one day in the middle of the forest, confused and scared. But now they suddenly find themselves in another world, where all signs point to war - a war that will not only plunge this fantastic and strange world into chaos and insensitivity, but also threaten the earth and all life on it. In the face of this threat, Alina discovers that she possesses extraordinary powers. Should she get involved in the dangerous battle against the power-hungry Grey King?
Mira Hellmann from Cämmerswalde reads from her book "Somewhere out there". Isabella feels completely at home in her native Liberia. She attends school, has the support of her family and is happy with herself and the world. One fine day, however, the school bus in which Isabella is travelling is hijacked. After travelling for several days, the young girl is taken to a family in Enfer. Enfer, a country where war has been causing fear and terror for ten years. Now it is up to Isabella to get used to her new life, as all she really wants is to return home. While the Liberian finds a friend in the family and does everything she can with her to get back home, she learns about the cruelties of war.
Frances Kunze from Lengefeld presents the first and second volumes of the "King's Guard Amesol" series. The orphan girl Deyla suddenly feels an irresistible pull that draws her to the royal city. Once there, unbelievable things happen to her. What is it about the tigers she regularly dreams about? What was the reason for this pull? And how will her journey continue?
