The uncharted territory of puberty - How do we get there together with our children?

VHS@home on Thursday, 25 March, 5 to 6.30 pm

On Thursday, 25 March from 5 to 6.30 p.m., the Chemnitz Adult Education Centre invites you to the online course "Neuland Pubertät - Wie kommen wir gemeinsam mit unseren Kindern gut ansziel?" Participation costs six euros. After registering (by 2 p.m. on 25 March) at www.vhs-chemnitz.de, you will receive an access link by email.

Puberty is one of the most important phases of human development. At the same time, it is considered a difficult and challenging stage of life - especially for adolescents. But it also presents parents and adult carers with major challenges. They are sometimes at a loss and overwhelmed. Here it can be useful to keep the (developmental/educational) goal in mind.

The course offers a systemic, solution-orientated perspective. Neurophysiological changes are considered and specific developmental tasks are addressed in order to achieve an even better understanding of growing children and adolescents. Parents and carers receive impulses to strengthen and motivate them for this important process. The aim is to accompany their teenagers through puberty with more joy and confidence.

The speakers work at the Family Counselling Centre for Children, Youth and Family of the Arbeiterwohlfahrt Kreisverband Chemnitz und Umgebung e. V. (Workers' Welfare Association Chemnitz and Surroundings).
