Family festival with lots of music, puppet shows, arts and crafts and creative activities on 10 June 2017, 2 to 7 p.m. at the TIETZ
The TIETZ foyer shines in new splendour after a colourful redesign. This is a reason to celebrate. On Saturday, 10 June, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the facilities of the municipal cultural enterprise and the rental company "Wohnen in Chemnitz" invite you to a family party with a colourful programme on the ground floor of the TIETZ. Catering will be provided. Admission is free.
There will be a big family festival with lots of creative and hands-on activities. You can make paper with flowers, leaves and fabric remnants, draw mangas and comics, try out graffiti on large canvases under supervision, write old scripts and make buttons. Puppeteers, clowns and magicians will perform. The highlight will be Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra.

Concert with Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra
Andrej Hermlin and his Swing Dance Orchestra is one of the most successful bands on the swing scene in Germany. With a "Best Of" of swing music, the ensemble pays tribute to the stars of the golden era Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman.
