"The monkey is laughing at me"
Children's festival at Chemnitz Zoo on 11/12 June 2016 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Whether Geoffroy's spider monkey, golden lion monkey or bear macaque - the monkeys at Chemnitz Zoo are very popular with visitors young and old. That's why this year's zoo festival is being held under the motto "The monkey is laughing at me". The special monkey species in the zoo, their peculiarities and also their natural environment will be presented.
The family festival is the festive highlight of 2016 at Chemnitz Zoo. For two days, guests can experience great activities, enjoy nature, simply have fun, jump, climb, dance, play, win, listen and join in. The winners of the monkey-strong monkey rhyme campaign will be announced, there will be a colourful programme with numerous activities and interviews on the Radio Chemnitz stage as well as special guided tours through the tropical house and a special guided tour "Monkeys" with the zoo director, among others.
Other attractions include Monkey activity stands for the little ones with the spider monkey pass, bouncy castle, archery, tree climbing with monkey grips, craft stands, face painting, pony rides and a push-up challenge.
